Hey there! I’m Terah, the designer & creator of Lanah Te Couture (LTC). Born in the heart of Los Angeles, California, I am a single mother of three and the only daughter to a family of five siblings.
My mom used to buy, sell, and design fashion costume jewelry as a side business to help feed our struggling family of 7. This is when I began developing my love of jewelry at a very early age. I can remember being fascinated with my mom’s costume jewelry collection; always playing in it. In fact, my mom used to buy jewelry from the very same area I go to for my scavenger hunt to this day; the Downtown Los Angeles Fashion District.
After designing and making a few custom pieces for friends, family, and colleagues, I was strongly encouraged to pursue my talents and start my own business designing jewelry. So in my many sleepless nights, I did just that. Always determined to create something distinctive and inspiring for the world to see and share.
